How effective is interval training?

I have been considering using an interval based training product to lose some weight. Has anybody used one of these products? I have heard good things from friends but wanted to get some more information before I made the purchase. The product I am referring to is the request permission to advertise . Let me know. I look forward to getting some feedback.

Those interested can read this link http://www.discussfitness.com/forums...erval+training

LOL - Interval training is not a product but a method of training. Save your money and search the forum for a description on how to do proper intervals for your goals.
