You gotta watch the shoulders I had trouble around 280 with the shoulder then again at 450. I took extra care of my shoulders now.
515 was my last max 512 official at a meet. :

I know most of you guys are MUCH stronger than I, but I am very pleased with my progress so far. I took my two week break the two weeks before Christmas after lifting for 10 months. Two weeks after lifting again, I am FINALLY up to 10 reps of 160 pounds. About freakin' time!!

Thanks Jaster. Now it's time to up that to 10 reps of 200 pounds. That's my next goal. In your opinion, what is a reasonable time for a person to be able to achieve a 40 pound increase for 10 reps?

6-7 months or so. That's figuring at about a 5lb. increase per month.

Sunds good to me but don't get nutz if you don't because I have gone through stages where I would not gain for a bit then just shoot up. Everyone is diferrent don't rush it and listen to your body. If you go to fast you WILL get hurt. Take it slow in your own time. It will come trust me. Some times you think it won't but trust me!! :

Same with me candy. Although, I am looking toward 315, nothing like adding another set of 45's and pulling off all that change.
