I'm pretty weak in that area. I can do 140 on one set of 10 or 120 on three sets of 8.
Starting the new year, I hope to be pressing 160 in three or four weeks.

I did 250x5 last week. The most I've ever done was 340x1.

No Jaster. Wait for the next 6 PRs posted, then add those to all preceding poundages ... and that's what we'll assume your max bench-press to be. :

Couldnt tell ya anymore, its been a few years since I've maxed out. I cant do that much anymore due to the shoulder. I put up 265 lbs. however before I hurt myself.

490lbs for 2 ....... That'll be down to about 400 now since the start of uni life, but yeah a few months ago I was there although life was concentrated around lifting and school work and nothing else, just shows what you can achieve though, regardless of age / body type and all of that hype.

490? Dang, and here I was all happy today about going from 140 to 160 for 10 reps. Think I'll keep that little bit of info to myself now...lol

Thanks Goose, I used to be - although bench pressing is all relative really just like the rest of the sport, if you work for the size / strength then the big lifts just come your way I'm sure Jaster can vouch for that . Also have to take into consideration how one may have got to that stage .

- Easy, Lee.

240 is still my max. Shoulder has been giving me problems again so im rehabbing that and my friend messed up my last workout. Im hoping to bench 250-255 on my next attempt.

270, though I bet I'm down to 250 or so now. Been out of the gym for over a month, first due to injury, and then due to the f'ers closing completely for 2 full weeks during the Holidays. Get to go back and lift again finally tomorrow, can't wait. I did get 2 days in before they closed, but it feels like its been so long.
