yep go them in my new workout on here HIIT training, doing short wind sprints , or just sprints up an incline will keep the metabolism up far longer than long on going cardio .. e.g a bike, so you not only burn fat whilst doing it but for literall hours and hours after. This type of cardio has been scientifically proven to be the best choice for fat shredding and building endurance, and like it sounds from hearing you guys it is especiall common in athletes.

Who knew I was doing about the right thing all along? One last thing, how many sprints would you suggest (should I do them until my sprint is about as fast as my jog back or less than that) and how many days a week should I do this on?

15 - 20 sprints with about 10 secs rest or jog back between, then rest for about a min, and repeat

wow! wait, how long are these sprints your talking about Lee? I can't imagine doing 15-20 even 50 yard sprints with only 10 seconds of rest or a jog back, and then, resting for a minute and repeating!

I do 19 Sprints of 40 yards, then i jog back to where i started ( so 40 yard jog back) have 5 secs rest and then repeat this, after i have done 19 i rest for a minute. then i do it all again, i do this until 20minutes is up. Increasing the rest by 30 secs each time. So after the second set of 19 ill have 1 min 30 rest
So in answer to your question, 40 yards bro.

Ok, here's what my team did. We did bad in a game, and the next week was our bye week. So to start off practice, we'd stretch then run a ladder:
Sprint 100 Yards
Jog back 90 yards
Sprint 90 yards
Jog back 80
And you see where this is going, we did that up the length of the field. BUT the thing is, if you aren't back in time for coach to blow his whistle, you had to start over! They really sucked!

Ok,that makes a little more sense, the way it sounded earlier, it was like sprint forever, lol. How many days per week?
