How should I workout to acheive this body? (image inside)
I'm around 5'5, and I weigh 119 pounds. I'm not fat, but would like to acheive the body shown above. I'm not really looking to lose a lot of weight, just to tone up and have nice abs and thighs; nice body overall. Right now, I think I have more body fat than lean muscle, so I need help on what workouts I need to do to acheive this body, tone up, and lose the excess fat so I can have a firm figure. Please help, thanks.

Lift hard, lift heavy, and do your 3-5 days a week cardio.
You can do a full body workout 3 days a week, or a 3 day split, 4 day split, 5 day split, whatever suits you.
Modify your eating habits. (You can learn more about this in the diet section)

Evaluate how you eat now, then intelligently change it. Do you need help?

I think the fashion model picture you posted is of someone with little muscular development (look at the legs and lack of separation showing in the belly). I'd say that "look" is the result of a high rep/small weights weight training program and aerobic classes while on a limited calorie diet.
Not much mass building needed, just low bodyfat and muscle shaping a la exercise videos and/or classes. Of course you would end up with your own personal version of it in your body style and bone structure. I think you could accentuate it a lot with the choice of wardrobe too.

from a female point of view, i don't like that body at all, either - very skinny arms and legs with no tone and dunno what she's doing with her abs - is she sticking them out trying to look like a little girl?
fwiw, i think this is a much more attractive goal to aim for (excepting the boobs which are, of course, not a lot to do with nature and genetics these days):

why?
Nicole,
Why in the world would you want to look like that? She looks almost sickly to me... The photo threenorns attached would be a far superior goal imho. (Of course I understand beauty is the eye of the beholder!) Best of luck wuith your training and diet regardless of the goal you choose for yourself.

Nicole, just aim for good health through a an exercise plan that includes strength training, cardiovascular training and flexibility training and make healthy food choices as often as possible. You'll knock the socks off any fashion model with your attractiveness, I'll guarantee that.

yeah - but you shoulda seen the other pic with "omg-where's-the-brass-pole" silve lamé boots!
the original pic i was going to post, i changed my mind because it's a bit built for mainstream tastes and i figured if she thought Stick Girl was attractive, she'd be totally put off by the muscularity of yer standard Ms Fitness competitor. so i split the difference and went with yer generic "fitness model" - bikini and shoes aside, the build is an attractive one that is within reach with reasonable effort.
(although i'm confused about how three yellow triangles covering the essentials can be "bad fashion"?)

LOL...no silver boots and poles either please. I always thought that the playboy photos of female athletes were among the most enviable body types.
Figure skaters like Katerina Witt are not everyday fashion models and ooze fitness and grace! http://www.katarinawitt.de/index.html

absolutely - fitness models (even the males) are selected for their resemblance to skaters and not for their resemblance to bodybuilders or powerlifters, after all. they have this generic "ideal healthy human body" template they gotta fit into, or they don't get the nod.
for me, i like the less-ripped but still built examples of bill dobbins' work, such as the girl at the bottom in the green metallic bikini: www.billdobbins.net (contains artistic nudity, no sexual content). that's more what i'm aiming for - the look that i can kick someone through a wall if they piss me off, lol.

which directly relates to my other post: not only the ridiculous boobs, but check out the jug-jaw - she's practically got an adam's apple!
i REALLY don't like the look of a six-pack combined with double-dee's - it just looks so terribly wrong.

well...I think that the one in the little pink mini-skirt is very attractive...I wouldn't mind 'achieving' that body either...so-to-speak...
...hmm...I'd say that she's probably very strict on the diet and does lots of cardio...maybe some light weights.
