the only way to lose body fat is to get rid of calories. you can do that by diet (eating less calories) or exercise (using up calories). i suggest both.

lifting weights will give you muscle, but cardio is how to burn body fat. again, if your goal is to lose body fat, i would suggest both.

Nc Has it in 1, fat is stores cals, so up cardio and eat less high cal foods.
Clean up yr diet and replace snacks with fruit.
Every time you go to eat something not needed or rubbish in nutrition, THINK do i really want or need this.
If you cant resist it see how many cals it has the walk the distance needed to burn it off again, But remember a big mac is about a 8 mile walk

Look mate if you are serious about losing body fat you must have a sound diet, exercise (cardio+resistance) and consistency. Another factor is you will hit a wall after a while, so the trick is to change things up, vary your calories on different days depending on your level of exercise(calorie expenditure) on that day. Try carb cycling, with 45-1hr a day of cardio (70-85%heart rate max), weight train each muscle group hard once a week(so total say 3-4times a week in weight room) and keep with it as a lifestyle change. Then eventually you wil see a six pack.

Hi Axel,

Belly fat has been my problem before too. What I do to get over it is I perform cardio especially walking and running. This is what I maintain before to cut the fat on my stomach. It was effective because it truly burn my fat.

Hi all.
New for the site.
My friend's problem is that he can not control his eating habits and failing to loose weight.
