I got to thinking

I was on my way home today and a thought popped into my mind.Mark you have money, why not do something worth while.I know im not in the best shape I can be,I drink, eat unhealthy foods (my life revolves around chips and pizza) and I thought I want to join a gym and get myself into shape and have fun while im at it.
Please can you offer any tips to someone in my situation on how to start

Drop down to the floor and perform a set to failure of pushups. Then stand it and perform a set to failure of full-range bodyweight squats. Then sit down and perform a set to failure of situps.

Use this quick workout to assess where you are and where you want to go.

Ok well. You should go to the gym and seek some help with a trainer. Get the technique right first off and you will get faster gains than you would continually trying to get gains with poor technique.

Talk with the trainer about what you want to achieve.

good luck !
