I need some help, I'm trying to lose weight!


I would like to start off by saying hi to everyone! LOL! ok, I want to lose weight. I just bought some protein powder and some other stuff. I have a tredmill, exercise ball, weighted jumprope, a bench, free weights and some other things..but i need some type of guide to get me going in the right direction. I am 5 fot 6 and weight about 190..=(. IF anyone can help me on what types of food i should eat,how many meals per day, and when i should exercise that would be great! I was told that I should eat 6 meals a day, and exercise onece everyday..but i dont know if this is the most effective way to go. Please post anything that will help me, and thanls in advanced =)

Gee hzrd, if I had a dollar for every new poster who started off at DF with a post like yours I'd be a rich lady!

Welcome and go through the forums reading the Stickies or posts stuck to top of each topic forum. Everything you asked about is all there. No need to "aim". The posts and discussions here will benefit everyone.
