What can one say ? How are you going to know if your improving, when to up the weight, how many you can do with a certain weight and many other variables if you dont count ? If I were you I'd have to start asking myself am I serious about this......

I always keep a log.
WHat I do is never lift to a pre thought out rep number. I rep till I can't lift clean (Good form) Then I log that number. If you stop just because you reached 10 reps or so then that is no good too.
If I was you I would start a log.

Jomo, no offense, man. But you post some really stupid topics sometimes. I am just going to stop clicking on them, because I think they make me dumber for reading them.

Hey Streax, give the guy a break, man!

I find his postings quite cool. Anyway, that's why we are here - to help, isn't it?

If you don't agree with me, I'll invade TN...or at least rename it!

haha, I did sound a little harsh. I was just thinking back to a previous threads when he posted how he gets drunk and high before he works out, would rather buy rims for his car than weights, etc.

I just have a hard time taking his questions serious if he doesn't take it serious. It's kind of like when the class clown asks a weird question to the teacher and you don't know whether to laugh or if he is serious.

I guess we all have different priorities. I just think sometimes he says/asks these things to see how we will react.

It is obvious that counting how many reps and sets you do is as basic as breathing when working out. Maybe if he works out sober with a real set of weights, it will be easier to count. That is my advice, and I am sticking to it.

I hope this does not sound like a flame, but I call things like I see them.
