I'm getting old

I just had to take off two weeks because of an arthritic feeling in both elbows.

I feel a lot better this week but still a dull cold feeling in the elbows so I guess I'll be lowering the weights and upping the reps.

Man I knew it I'm over 40 now so I start to fall apart!!
Oh well I just guess I'm Old!!

Tell that to cursor! That man makes "over 40" look like an ad for Club Med!

You're not falling apart, brother. You're hitting a little speed bump. Guys like you don't have it in them to fall apart,......even after 40!

You are still a young pup.

The weather is changing and your body is a barometer. Move to Florida or California and your bones will feel fine.

That's what east coast people like to do when they retire.

Ahh Jas, it ain't so bad. I had to take over a month off due to an injury and my joints were telling my age again...only able to do occasional light workouts. Today, my first day back in the gym for some real work and the cold was just too much for these old bones.

So now, I'm driving 15 miles from my house and paying $135.00 to get to use a place with heat.

We age, we adapt, and in many ways...improve.

And apparently...knee and elbow sleeves are actually a good investment at somewhere around the 40 year mark.

Tendons connect muscles together. Tendonitis (as you may have guessed form the name) is when tendons get inflammed. Arthritis is where the squishy liquidy protective part of the joint begins to wear away, resulting in inflammation and pain.

Sometimes with arthritis, movement induces lubrication and the inflamed joints feel a little better. Where-as with tendonitis, repetitive movements may exacerbate the discomfort you feel. Keep an eye on it, see if it gets worse, if it gets better, and what irritates it or makes it feel less painful,....

Hope things get better buddy! Hang in there,....

Craking the joints or hyperextending them a little relives the pain for a short (short) time.

I do have a pinched nerve on the left side.
I can feel it down my shoulder in to my elbow and down to my thunb.
I can fight this by watching how I sleep on my side.

What is tennis elbow?

I just got my new drivers license in the mail. It's valid until I turn 60. OH CRAP!
