"Studies" like this crack me up... is it possible that the few "Least trainable" people were not putting forth the effort necessary to show an improvement? how does a scientist measure ones actual output vs there maximum possible output? maybe those "least trainable" were just lazy???

Just ludicrous. Throw a bunch of people on exercise bikes for a few weeks and declare that some of them won't get anything out of it?

This is exactly what excuse-makers are looking for. I can see it now: "I've been working out for four months now but I haven't seen any gains. I guess I'm just one of those untrainable people. Might as well give up."

Ugh.

Yea I see those people on the treadmill too. A magazine is one thing cause they may just be looking at the pictures but I've seen people reading novels! It looks pretty funny
