Is Daily HIIT possible?

Hello all,

Just a few questions. I started doing HIIT and do it every other day while doing nothing on the days in between. So I was wondering can I do HIIT for maybe 5 days a week, some light cadio/lifting on the 6th day and a rest day on day 7? Can I do weight lifting after I do HIIT or is that not recommended?
I really want to loose body fat and lower my fat %, which is top prioty than gaining muscle ( primarily my arms).

Thanks

Well, athletes in Tabata's experiments did entervals every day ... but those were olympic athletes. I'd say it's possible, depending on your conditioning. But variety is good. I prefer to mix solid state and interval cardio.

i think thats a bit exesive, if you want to loose bf i would replace more than half your hiit trainning with a solid workout program so you can build mucle because muscle will burn calories, biger muscles means you burn more calories, diet will play a huge role as well try omega 3 and 6 essential fatty acids and keep colestoral and trans fat levels low in your diet low. that way your not going to end up a twig when ur finished don't also don't starv your self thinking that its going to help because your only slowing down your metabolism to a crawl wich mean went you decide to eat a normal amount again your going to gain fat, in the long run diets like these are not healthy and with evenually burn out your metabolism. good luck.
