Is this good for burning fat?

I heard this somewhere, I think it was here, teh Guerilla workout.

What i do is sprint for 20 seconds, then do a light jog for 10 seconds, and repeat for 8 times. It said in the article that its realllllyyyy hard, but it can help you lose body fat, and also enough to show your abs in like 8 weeks...

Sprinting can help you lose fat, but it's not something you should do every day. I would do it no more than twice a week. I would make my recovery a little longer than the sprint itself. As far as being enough to show your abs, that would depend on several other things. I think you would need to make sure you're doing other ab exercises while using the sprinting to lose the rest of the fat over your abs. And also, your diet will make up probably 90% of whether your abs will show or not. I'm not an expert in this area so someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Best thing you can do! They are called Tabata's. Not only do they burn fat well but will put you in the best shape of your life. Check this out

Yep, I second that. It's high intensity cardio that just MELTS the fat off. I've been diong similar but on a bike over the entire time ive been losing. Just change up the way you do your intervals every now and then. Add resistance if you can. Great workout!

This protocol is referred to "Tabata". It can be used for any type of exercise. 20 seconds of high intensity with 10 seconds rest for 8 sets. Total workout is 4 minutes.

I believe it is good for fat but don't do this type of workout everyday or you'll burn yourself out.
