is this work out any good?

I've been going to the gym for over 3 weeks now, and my main goal is to loose weight (original!) before the summer comes and hopfully to have tones up a bit. I'm 16, 5"9ish about 15 stone/90kgs, so i'm quite a large lad.
my work out consists of this (sorry if my description of machine are vague):

warm up: 5mins on the running machine/ 10 mins on the bike. then i do me stretches.

3 reps of 10, on the peck machine

3 reps of ten on the the bar machine (the one where you pull the bar down down)

5/10mins on the bike

1000 meters on the rowing machine

3 reps of 10 on the push the bar out machine

40 sit ups, then 20 on each side

5mins on the step machine

3 reps of ten on the peck machine

3 reps of ten on the bar machine

3 reps of ten on the push the bat out machine

Thats about it really. sometimes i may put in some more cardio stuff

I think the area thats stopping me from loosing weight is my diet. For breakfast i usually eat, 2 bowls of weetabix minis/pasta salad. for lunch i have cheese/ham sandwitch. when i get home from school sometimes have a peenut butter sandwitch, then for dinner i usually have pasta/meet(chicken, beef etc), my meals always have meat.

Cheers

I suggest you read ALL of these
Beginners Questions
How to make a diet plan
How much protein/carbs/fat is that?
Also, try reading journals it may answer lots of questions just like using the search function does.

By the Way

Stretching at the start of a workout is bad. You risk pulling/injuring a muscle. Wait until AFTER the workout to stretch.

Cheers for those links Lady C, i'm reading them as we speak.

I've always been taught, that you warm up your body. get the blood flowing and then you stretch, then you also stretch at the end of the excerise.

He's doing 15 mins of cardio warm-up before he stretches. Isn't that enough?

I prefer to wait until I'm done with all my cardio to stretch though.
