well i'm not married per se, but been with my boyfriend for 3 1/2 years now, and he is not really into fitness. he goes in phases where he runs for like 3 weeks pretty consistently then will drop off for a week or month then gets back into it. i think he also does a small bit of weights every so often. guitars are more his thing. lol

I'm not married either, but my man is into fitness : he likes weightlifting & crossfit stuff ok but his real passions are snowboarding and mountain biking.

Unfortunately not, because it would make the pregnancy she's going through now a whole lot easier on her. I'm hoping I can get her going once she pops it out, though.

Not like she once was. She used to own a gym, host martial arts classes, teach aerobics, and was a pretty good lady bodybuilder (being 5' tall gave her a little advantage in this).
Now some weight training and light cardio are a continuing part of her recovery from serious health problems, injury, and multiple surgeries.
We don't workout together, but I do spot her for her workouts.

Love the question! I been wondering about this too amongst the DF regulars.
The answer for me is no though. In his past life yeah, he had a bench and set of weights around but became the proverbial clothes rack before it was given away.
I've been promised that I can have whatever I want for a home gym when the time is right. He may or may not decide to join in. That's why I'm expanding my options with my current training.
He has hellatious calves though. Apparently they are from old HS football days.
What about yours arbit?

My wife rides horses. Here she is a couple of years ago with her horse "Jumpin Jet Flash" . Dont let anyone tell you that horse riding is easy
Note the mountains in our backyard. Nevada has mountains!

You've got it made R-dog. Get out there and ride them ponies! What are you doing hanging around rowers and treadmills for?
Arbit - then would your partner's attitude towards fitness be important to you?

Yes.
I dont require that the partner be a fitness freak, but she must at least be into some physical activity occasionally

My girlfriend thinks I'm crazy, but she's trying to get into it. She used to be a great soccer player and she's joined a gym a few times. She's yet to stick to a real routine. We get in enough "cardio" on the side though, so she's still pretty fit.
