Jogging question

I know for a cardiovascular workout it's probably good to do it everyday but you are also working the same leg muscles everyday. I noticed I have better endurance when I jog everyday but I feel that my legs need a rest. Is it better to take a day or two off from jogging to give your muscles time to repair like when lifting weights?

Yes. Honestly jogging everyday is overkill unless you are training for something like cross-country.

Rest is very important. If you are feeling that your legs need a rest give it to them. To run every day you have to schedule yourself a couple recovery runs. If you are training for cross country or a marathon etc. once your training is over make sure to give yourself a good rest. For a couple of weeks taper ofyour distance, intensity, and number of days you run.
