Just not feeling sore anymore

I am very active. I do a cardio kickboxing class 4 times a week and on the weekends I do my weighlifting. I up the weight everytime, and I feel the burn, but the next day its like I never worked out. I am trying to get the cuts in my arms and abs, but because I am not getting that sore, I feel like I am not seeing results. Any suggestions? TIA

Just keep going at is as you are. Eventually you will reach your strength limit and at that time you can change up your program to challenge your muscles in a bigger way. Be sure to read through the previous posts here by doing a search on the topic you want. There are lots of examples and opinions.

To borrow a phrase from other here, "cuts " in particular "abs" are made in the kitchen not the gym. In otherwords lowering bodyfat is more of an influence on how cut you look than whether or not you feel sore after a workout.

Welcome BTW!

FYI, Feeling the "BURN" in your muscles is not allowing you to get defined and cut. That's only done with fat loss, which is done with cardio and calorie deficit. Weightlifting has little to do with dropping fat. However, you need to do all three so that you maintain your lean mass, don't wanna be losing any of that!

Stick with low reps. Strength is the key to muscle growth, not the other way around.

The burn means nothing. You can do bicep curls with a soup can and feel the burn if you do it enough times. If you're getting stronger then what you're doing is working. If not then change your routine.
(GOD, thats a lot of cardio; I'd kill myself).

I dont know what you wanted to hear? I think the advice you got was perfectly sound. Stop being so sensitive and grow up.
