I'm looking for some cardio, but after just five minutes running or rowing, my knee will hurt for a couple of days. Should I get a specialist to look at it or is this something I'm going to have to live with?
Any recommendations on non-knee aggravating cardio?

Well I can understand running because it's a high impact sport / cardio type, but rowing is relatively low, if I ever do cardio now I will use the gyms new cross-trainer, I haven't actually been able to get to the new gym yet but I've heard reports that the cross-trainers are suppose to be the best for joints and such, and give a good workout too.

When you are rowing, make sure that your legs/ knees stay parallel to the centre of the rowing machine i.e. when rowing your knees do not flare outwards - as you'll know, the knee is a hinge joint and only allows your leg to either flex or extend in a straight line.
