Lifting Question

I work out 5 times a week...and I am wondering if I'm overtraining. I do chest and tris on monday...back and bis on tuesday...legs and shoulders on wednesday...thursday off...chest and tris again on friday...and back and bis again on saturday...sunday off

In doing chest/tris and back/bis twice a week...would that be considered overtraining? Thanks for ur help.

I wouldn't say this is overtraining, however there are other factors other then just exersize frequency that will lead to overtraining. How many sets per muscle group are you hitting for each workout? what's your rest (amount of sleep) like? how much water do you consume on a daily basis, what is your nutrition like? these other factors sometimes play a bigger role in overtraining then actual exersize frequency... are you fatigued alot of time are you not making gains on your lifts? these are a few symptoms of overtraining, do a search for 'overtraining' and you will find an abundance of information about it with varying opinions here and other places.
