Losing Excess Abdominal Fat??

I am 5'5, about 130lbs but I am wanting to weigh about 124lbs, so I only want to lose about 7 pounds. Anyways, Ive always had this little excess fat on my stomach and even when I was down to 104lbs I recall it still being there..or most of it. My stomach actually looks pretty good, but this excess fat is in the lower half mostly and I really would like to have a completely flat stomach for once. I know its normal to have a little fat, but I do have a little more than I would like on my stomach. I dont know exactly how to go about getting rid of it. I know the best way is doing cardio and losing the fat, but I dont want to lose too much weight, like I said only about 7 pounds..and this I doubt would give me a flat stomach. I do stomach work, but not enough right now. I know a lot of it has to do with diet, but I eat fairly good. My stomach is actually flatter than it was so whatever Ive been doing as far as a workout and diet has worked so far, but I dont want to lose too much weight just to get a totally flat stomach. So just wondering if there is any way I can get a flat stomach without losing too much all over body fat.

You can't spot reduce ANY area of the body (unless by liposuction). It is 95% diet. Abdominal fat is the last your body releases. To rid your body of the last bit you have to reduce OVERALL bodyfat. It it tough to maintain as well. Too much cardio will make you lose lots of muscle too. There is a fine line between all of this.

In another thread it was obvious to me you are not eating enough of the right stuff to make this happen.

While you can't spot reduce fat in one region, building your abs region can give your stomach a tighter look at a given BF%
