Losing weight for comp.

Hello. I am 16 5'5 132 pounds. We have a weight lifting competition every year for our school. I will be a Junior next year. Theres rewards for the tournament if you win your weight class. This year I am coming in second. But next year, if I lost weight and got down to the 123 class I could win that for sure. Is it possible to lose 9-10 pounds? I am growing and I am not really 'fat' or anything. I am probably like 11-13% body fat. Is it bad for me to do this? Or should I go ahead and do it?

Mucle weights more then fat, and by loosing 10 pounds, you are for sure gonna burn away those muscle meaning your are gonna loose strenght in order to life heavy. Your best bet would be to train to lift even more heavy.

Also, i didnt take a look at your body fat because i have no clue when it comes to measuring body fat.
