Loss of circulation while running?

I walk 5 minutes to warm up then I run for about 30 minutes straight then walk for about 10 minutes to cool down...about 10 minutes into the run I noticed alot of lactic acid buildup in my lower calves but I worked through it and it went away...then for the last 5 minuts of the run my left foot was tingling and then finally went almost totally numb...needles to say I pushed through it and it went away on the cool down portion of the walk. Iam new to running...is this normal?

Don't know if it is normal but your warmup is a bit short. Try a 10-15 minute warmup next time and see if that helps. Try a couple of minutes of stretching between your warmup and your run. (and after)

make sure you are wearing good supportive shoes and don't lace up too tightly.

Yea, definitely check your shoe laces. I've had this happen before, and it can get quite uncomfortable if it's a long run.

It's normal. It tends to happen more on the elliptical trainer but it's not uncommon while running either. It's just the nerve being impaired but when the run is over and everything gets back to normal all is well.
