Mini Trampoline Rebounder

Has anyone ever used one of these? I picked one up at a yard sale, it seems like fun. Anyone know of a website or advice on using one for health benefits? Thanks for info on balance ball.

I don't know of any sites that might focus on that device. Good luck in your search though. If you want to stick around here, I'm sure that you can become interested in alternative exercise techinques (not to mention nutrition).

Thumbs up

Hi ebbaseball,

You are in luck. Check out www.NoAdsPlease.com. Rebounding is an awesome workout. It's low impact, yet high intensity and it strengthens every cell in your body.

Try it, you'll like it !

Bally Total Fitness offers an Urban Rebounding class which uses these trampolines. I love the class. Took it twice today.

Do you just jump up and down or is there special things you are suppose to do on it? I have one and was just curious.

ncgirl,

You can jump up and down on rebounder, but you will find that if you focus on "stomping down" into the rebounder you will get more of a benefit.

While I love these things, it really puts a lot of pressure on my knees, and as I injured my knee severely about a year or so ago, I can't use on of these. I wouldn't recommend it for people with knee problems.
