Hi dreamer, how long have you got until your event?

The best way to prepare for a particular exercise is to practise it, working up your endurance and strength in graduated am, amounts.

Mountain walking sounds like going on hikes or brisk walking around your home town might help.

How about some more information on the expedition, such as how long it is, type or terrain, gear you take with you, when etc.

i would start running long distance. what kind of shape are you in now? after getting a good running base try running at higher altitudes (like in the mountains). your gonna need a lot of stamina carry a heavy pack around.

Well the walk is set for near the end of this year, but theres not a set date yet.So i've gt quite a while to do something about my fitness.I've already been on a walking expediton it was for 2 days. This one is for 4 days. The terrain was actually climbing up mountain,so there was snow, mud, rocks, uphill downhill. It was very challenging.I'm gonna try the long distance running first.Thnx for the ideas guys, much appreciated!!
