My routine..working?

Hi
Well this is what I've been doing since I moved to my new town.
I found a nice jogging route, so I try to do 1/2 hour jogging about 4 days/week.
I am currently using dumbells (10-12#) to do exercises at home, also using medicine ball and resistance band. There are exercises that target all muscle groups. So should these help build muscle?
I'm thinking of jogging 15 minutes in the mornings too to add a little extra. I'm trying to lose body fat mostly right now, so I figure the more cardio the better? I've heard that high intensity is best for fat loss, is this right? If so, how would I do that while jogging?
And I'm watching my diet:
Breakfast- cereal with 1% milk
Snack- Granola bar
Lunch- turkey on whole wheat bread, fruit, 1% milk
Sometimes a snack
Dinner- Usually pasta, salad (I eat too much pasta though)
..anything else I should focus on right now for fat loss? (though I will continue doing the at home weight training exercises)
Thanks for helping!!

If you want to switch it up a little, check out this article on running techniques.

Fresh off the presses by my main man Lush.

Sprint running and tabata running would be ideal for fat loss.
