Need Help.

I have recently been noticed some fat building up around my chest and my stomach area. I really don't want to sign up at a gym, but I have a weight lifting set and some dumbells. I don't have a lot of excess fat, but enough that I am getting self-concious about it.

I was wondering if this is enough equipment to knock off the excess fat, or do I need to sign up at a gym.

Thanks

Working out won't hurt and I'm certainly not going to talk you out of it but don't ignore diet.

The sooner you start paying attention to what you take in the better off you'll be.

Oh, and no, you don't have to join a gym. You can do a lot of solid beginner workouts with very basic equipment.

furthermore, the best weapon in the Battle of the Bulge doesn't involve any equipment more than a pair of runners: start walking, hiking, jogging, swimming, biking, anything that gets you sweating for a half-hour four or five times a week.

remember, working out and cardio is half the battle to burn fat and build muscle, other half is eating a good diet.
