Newbie Here and need answer to couple question


1. Do i have to take anything or will my arms get bigger by working out?

2. What are some effective sits up and should i do sits up every other day or every day?

3. I worked out for 3 months and just stoped for 2 1/2 week cause i went on a vacation for holidays, was this a horrible thing to do?

4. Do i have to do bar dips for working out my chest or are push up and bench pressing enough?

5. Whats a good exercise to work out back? (i really dont know any)

6. will working out every other day damage my muscle?

7. how often should i run?

1) No you don't have to take anything in the way of supplements, just make sure your diet is in tune with your daily life & workout and you will grow.

2) The best form of situps are actually the ones where you don't 'sit-up' they are called crunches are highly effective, a search on this site will bring links up for you, other's to look out for are bicycle crunches and hanging leg-ups. You should encorporate these into your abs routine, which should be done once... at the most twice a week.

3) Nope.

4) Dips are extremely good at working your chest, so are dumbbell flyes.

5) Deadlift (again a search will give you everything), T-bar rows, seated rows, bentover rows, bentover DB rows... the list goes on.

6) Not if you target different muscle groups in each workout.

7) On the days you don't train, but how many times is down to what your trying to achieve, muscle mass or cutting ?
