Pain on top of the Foot

Hi all,
I have noticed that after doing some squats, the next day my thighs keep paining whole day. Walking becomes difficult and a little crooked. What could be the cause of this? Thanks!

You, my friend, are experiencing what's called DOMS, or Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness. When your muscles receive a stimulus, they will sometimes get sore afterward. It's not known why, but I have read that it's thought that it's from microscopic tears in the muscle. That sounds scary, but it's not. When the muscles repair these microscopic tears, they repair them stronger, and this is how muscle becomes stronger.

If you're new to working out, the DOMS might improve some with time, or it may not. But it's not a bad thing.

you might try putting a block under yr heels when squatting, it will lighten the stress on the tendons in the feet.
My feet used to ache like a truck ran over them when i started out yrs ago.
An old boy told me of this method and it worked for me, so it might be worth a try
