Protein Shake?

Hey guys!

Is this product any good? I will leave it with you experts!

Im wanting this because i am now on a daily weights routine and i know protein is important to avoid the breakdown of muscle tissue when on a diet!

My other question is when should i take this? In the morning? Or a few hours before a workout?

Thanks!

are you m or f and what size? i'm f and taking 200 grams of protein a day, all of which i can get handily from my diet. getting your protein from clean food sources is better than taking it in a shake. were i needing 300 grams plus per day, then i'd need the shake because it would be inconvenient to impossible to eat that much food.

oh yeah - "page not found"

To add to that, i eat alot of tuna, beans and bread. So would i need this to help build muscle as im not sure my food have too much protein in them.

about 175 - if you just want to do bodybuilding type, start with 175 grams; if you want to put on serious muscle and strength (powerlifting), start with 300 grams of protein. see how it goes - use www.fitday.com to plan and monitor your diet.

that shake *sounds* good, but then, they all do. best place to use it is as post-workout shake.

Ive just read this from another site:

Quote:
Additional research has shown that ingesting a protein/carbohydrate supplement after exercise triggers the release of growth hormone. Great news for building muscle.
So does this mean i should take a protein and carb supplement before and after working out?
