Pushups / Abs in the morning

Hi,

I do pushups and Abs exercises 5 days a week as soon as I wake up in the morning. They wake me up and get me going. Here is what I do:

Pushups

1. Regular Pushups - 25 [slow and controlled so I feel it on the 20th rep]

Situps

1. Regular Crunches - 2/10
2. Reverse Crunches - 2/10
3. Bicycle maneuver - 2/10

1. I'm only doing them to get a little pumped up not for a full workout. Am I doing the right amount? Should I do less? Can I get away with doing more?

2. How often should I switch the exercises [replace current with variations] so that I work the full complement of muscles [plus the excercise doesn't get stale]?

Thanks,
Raja
