~*Running*~
I use to do situp's alot and I seen no change in my physical apperance what so ever, then I notice my stomache looked a little wired so I asked my friend about it and he said that running will melt the fat away and you'll be able to see your definition, is this true. And is it true that if you stay away from bred products you'll lose a " Hefty " amount of weight, I hered that someware.

Running will help you to lose fat - but only if it's combined with good nutritional habits.
Some people have a wheat intolerance and get bloated when they eat wheat products like bread. When they stop eating it they don't get bloated any more but they don't actually "lose weight".

If you run you will definetly lose fat! I lost 28 pounds in 2 months just from running. I didn't initially change what I was eating but the more I work out the more my body wants me to change what I am eating so I do eat healthier now, but during that time not much different. Of course you can only lose so much without changing your eating habits though!

Running along with alot of any cardio activity will make you lose weight. However, if one does too much cardio, they not only lose body fat but they also loose muscle as well.
As for ab fat...there is an old saying "Abs are made in the kitchen." And they are, you can do situps til you are blue in your face, but if your diet is not in check then you will never have the abs you wants. You need to have "clean" carbs, good fats and protein.

Bread and potatoes are pretty big no-no's for most people cutting weights. If you"ve ever seen the movie Goldmember just remember what Fat Bastard says "carbs are the enemy"

I ran 4 days a week, when I first started I could only run for 4 min. (at 6.0 on treadmill, I don't live in an area where I feel comfortable running outside!) walk for 2 etc. every week I just increased how long I ran on the first interval until finally after about 4 weeks I could run 1/2 hour, then the second month I started doing running intervals of 6.0 and 6.5 (5 min int.) on one of the run days and one of them was a longer run, as long as I could go at the time it was 40min. I've basically been following that program for a year until about a month ago when I developed tendonitis, (from running too often, I started running 5 days a week with too high an intensity), and I was still seeing some results. So I hope to pick it back up soon

When I first started out last september NO. But I started doing weight training in april and got more serious with it in July, and now do it every week and have my routines that I follow. I do Upper and Lower body two days a week or if I have the time during the week I'll split it up and do it four days a week concentration on upper one day lower the next etc. which is how I prefer to do it.
