Salsa, anyone!?

I got bitten by the Salsa bug. Needless to say, it's taken a toll on the frequency of my gym visits. I started taking lessons a month ago and lately I've been going to practice/class/workshop/clubs 4 times a week... I tell myself that I am still burning some calories dancing, but of course it's probably not nearly as much as when I do my usual weightlifting workouts...

Anyone else dancing?

I thought you mean the condiment! I was thinking, "What the hell does eating salsa have to do with going to the gym?!"

Don't worry too much. Aerobic activities tend to use more overall calories in a given time period than an intense bout of weight-training. As long as your classes are fast paced and you are not sitting around too much, you should be fine. Try to keep up the weight-training to help augment the new cardio.

I used to swing dance 4 nights a week and I was at the lowest bf% I have ever been! 'Course there were some pretty intense lifts and throws.

Mmmmm, Salsa. I like mine with 3 or 4 different kinds of hot peppers, very little tomato, lots of seeds.

Put it over shredded chicken breast, lettuce, tomato - great food and you can pretend you are at taco health instead of taco bell.

I know, you weren't referring to that kind - but I was hoping to get a good recipie when I clicked on this thread.
