Shoulder dislocation... again!

I dislocated my shoulder on Friday (this is the second time - first time was about 5 years ago). It's frustrating because I had fantastic physical therapy after the first time and I've been doing max-ot since December. I know it was a freak accident but I so hate being sidelined. My arm is in a sling for about 4 weeks (which is going to severely limit what exercises I can do) and the ER doc is sending me to a specialist to see if surgery is necessary to tighten things up.

Anybody else ever go through recurrent dislocations and/or surgery?

Thanks.

Sorry to hear about that bro. They say about 60% of people with dislocations have it happen again at some point in their lives. I dislocated my shoulder about 8 years ago, and so far it hasnt popped out again.
