I'm About less than 135 pounds maybe 5 10 - 5 8 in height, I'm fairly skinny, not alot of fat anywhere, yet i don't have a six pack(its VERY FAINT, and requires some flexing)- becuase of my thinness i dont belive its my body fat, Is there another factor i've missed?

It's your body fat.

Lack of muscular development in that area will also cause an inablility to see them. At your stats I'm sure you body fat is very low. You need to build some ab muscles in order to see them.

i second IronMan.. the case is most likely a lack of muscular development in the subject area. 135?? i doubt your bf isnt low enough to see em.

If you want to really start seeing them don't do high rep crunches or situps. The ABS are just like any other muscle group you must give them rest and proper training. Do you do 100s of reps for you chest no. You can do more for your abs but i higly reccomend if you want to see them do heavy crunches in sets of 10-15. Oh yeah watch your back.

Doing 100 crunches a day? well thats overworking them too much! i only do 3x 8 crunches 2 times a week and im fine! do 3 ab workouts one to target ur lower abs upper abs and obliques. Try sean phillips book i got it and it is great =D

( btw when i was talking about pick 3 exercise it actually works the whole midsection but focuses mainly on what you want eg Lower ab crunches focus on the lower abs ) =D

Damn dude! 5'10" @ 135 lbs! You need to eat bro! I was at that point about 3 years ago and I was disgusted with myself. Now I'm a healthy 175 and feeling great.

100 isn't really overworking them unless you do it weighted, should just do 8-10 and if you can do more without feeling it, add some weight. I usually do something with a medicine ball or a dumbbell on a decline sit-up bench and use the pilates ball too, and then do leg raises hanging from this harness thing on the squat rack.
I mean...without weights anyone with a few months of training behind them can do 100's...maybe over 1000 crunches in a day and not be bothered too much for someone more advanced.

then doing 100 crunches is useless? what if u only want a flat stomach and u don't want packs? only the oblique (where u can see 2 vertical lines)

The sit-ups and crunches and whatever you do wont really directly remove fat from your abs or flatten your stomache, that is fat that needs to be removed via diet and excercise. The sit-ups, crunches, and leg raises are all part of excercise to help give you a nice strong central core.
