sleep question

i'm a college student and i often can't get enough sleep at night. (often during test weeks) i typically get between 5 and 6 hours of sleep nightly. i workout at noon everyday and try to get in a nap after my classes. (around 3pm)

could this be affecting recovery/growth? or do the naps make up for it?

thanks in advance

I would say the naps help, but they still wouldn't make up for a good nights sleep

Depending on how long your naps are i wouldn't see why it would be any different from sleeping all at once.
