So its been a year...
Well I joined a year ago... Not as good of a year as I would have hoped, but with having a kid things slowed down.
Last year:
260lbs 46in waist bf% unknown
Now:
218lbs 36in waist 26%bf(When I bought the scale I was 245lbs and had 32%bf)
This next year should be much better, as I am not starting out as a huge slob.
Thanks for all the info and help, this site has help a TON!

Very, very good. You should be proud of yourself.
Why don't you join us in the Online Journal section so we can read about the great progress you'll make in the next year. We'd love to have you!
Have a great day!

10 inch size reduction in a year. That's good. Keep doing what you are doing. Best luck on your continued success.
Another good motivator is to start an online training journal. Good way to keep yourself honest, working hard, on track, pick up new ideas, and stay motivated with what you are doing.

I started a journal last year, but Im not one for updating it often enough. Im also mostly about the diet and less of working out. My production company is starting to shoot a movie in the next few months. There will be a bunch of high school flashbacks so I need to lose some more fast

Nice progress on the weight loss.
What or who's info specifically was helpful for your weight loss?

I guess everything in general has helped. When I joined I was so misinformed about working out it was sick. I had the general info down it was just the specifics. So after some reading, reading, and more reading the weight started coming off...

You have made great progress! Since you have stuck with it for a year, you have likely formed a lifetime habit, and that is so important, but not easy to do. Congratulations to you!

Well we had the cancer 5k walk this morning. Last year I had a time of 53:4? cruising along, had I pushed it I might have been in the 51 range. This year I was on a team(which is teathered together) and our time was 52:3?. But.. I was pushing a 40lb stroller, we had to stop a few times for shoe laces, then had to ditch a team member(she had surgery a couple of weeks ago). And when we were about 2/3 done, we realized we were not going to get first. So we waited for a couple of min for our lost member, but she was WAY back and waived us on. So with the stroller and hoofin it we would have been in the 47-48 range, and I was being held back.
Im pretty happy with the way things are going. And now that my wife is over the post pregnancy stuff I have someone to workout with.
*edit 5-22-07 208lbs 23%bf
*edit 8-11-08 190lbs
