Soreness!!!

Question for all of you that do heavy weight training...

Is the soreness supposed to go away? I've been working out for about 4 weeks, 4x-5x per week and at first I was so sore the day after working a particular body part I could'nt stand it, but now, 4 weeks later, I'm doing more weight, harder workouts, and the soreness is gone almost absolutely. Is this normal??? or should I do MORE?

All input is appreciated.
THANKZ

The soreness is supposed to die off as your body becomes acclimated to the work outs and is better able to heal it's self.

Now that's not to say it will totally go away, but it's typically the worst in the beginning.

i noticed that if i streach after my worksouts it helps the sorness. I never forget to do it after a leg/cardio day cause i can still feel the burn like 3 days later if i dont !

hopefully you are working out a different sections f the body each day or you are severely overtraining and this is why you are always sore. when i did total body workouts, i'd get sore quite often and never give myself enough rest. if this is the case, check out the training and advice forum they'll give you some good routines for adequate rest to prevent soreness
