hi, i used to be a gymnast, so i think i can answer this one.

pain. lots of pain. my coach used to put my ankles on blocks and then stand on my thighs. don't try that!

go slow, work your way out. stretch for ages, and never bounce. you could hurt yourself!

it'll take a while, but you'll get there eventually. stretch every day

Or try Yoga.....

If you are bulking your legs, it'll be a lot harder, but one day you will just loosen up a lot more if you just keep stretching.... I was for a while, but I'm starting back on it now (although I have to be careful of my knee)... ah well....

I now have to take back what I posted in this as I can now do them, it took absoloutly ages and A LOT of pain, I still have like 1cm to go, but compared to half my leg height thats good lol, first time I got down low I could not walk the next day seriously it felt as if I had led weights strapped to the inside of my legs....
