Sprained ankle

I can somewhat jog on it now for about a mile without feeling any pain, hell I hiked up a mountain 2 days after I sprained it...but I still can't use the full range of motion with it, so I'm wondering if its good to get back into squats and deadlifts yet given the amount of stress that is on my legs in each of those.

No...let it heal. The ankle undergoes high amounts of tension while performing squats etc due to the stabilzation effort. Given that the stabilization ligaments have been damaged from the sprain, you should allow it to heal fully before placing additional stress on it.

You should definetly let it heal. Not letting it heal properly before using it again can lead to more injuries and/or recurrent injuries.

Take it easy, bro.

A sprained ankle means loosened ligaments and tendons. These tissues don't get the same amount of blood flow as muscle does, thus takes longer to heal. Not to mention the fact that after a sprain, your chances for another drastically increase, due to the laxity of the ligaments and tendons.

A good rehabilitating exercise (although very boring) is drawing the alphabet with your toes. Good thing is that you can do this anywhere, don't need a gym.
