Still more benefits to exercising but with a twist...

It looks like us diehard coffee drinkers have not got it all wrong. Not only is there a study suggesting lower risk of breast cancer amongst coffee drinkers, but now there is a chance that those who exercise and drink coffee are improving their defenses against skin cancer!

FOXNews.com - Study: Caffeine, Exercise 'Markedly' Decrease the Risk for Melanoma Skin Cancer - Health News | Current Health News | Medical News

Last month there was a news item suggesting that Vit. D may prevent multiple sclerosis and rheumatoid arthritis and is good for the heart!
report 1
report 2

I think I'll down a cup of joe then go for a 15 minute run in the sun with no sunscreen on in the middle of the day.

How would the risks versus benefits play out in that scenario (especially with my family history)?

I read that article today and the first thought in my head was who funded that study?

I had a cup of coffee last Friday and wow what a buzz I had. I'm not used to that stuff. I should have saved it for a burpee workout.

It's always good to question where the funding comes from!

Anyway, I've more or less stopped paying attention to studies like these. What I do know is that coffee isn't all that bad, it's a very rich source of antioxidants for instance. I think most natural food stuffs are OK in moderation...

I have a mug of coffe in the morning, sometimes an espresso in the afternoon.
