Straight Legged Deadlifts

I did these Monday night, I have never been this sore in my life. My upper back muscles hurt, my quads hurt, glutes hurt. I had someone there making sure I used proper form to. I am not hurt just typical soreness. Is this typical the first time someone does these?.

Yup, but you should be feeling something in your hamstrings, too.

I didn't get crazy DOMS from stiff leg Deadlifts because I had already been doing regular deadlifts for a couple months. The first time I did regular deads though, my ass freakin hurt for like 5 days. I felt like I had to walk stiff legged.

Any time I take time off from deadlifting they'll put me into DOMS for a few days afterwards. I get worse DOMS from squats, though.

Just a quick note, if your not so flexible you don't have to do them elevated like the picture in that link demonstrates. Flat footed on the floor is fine.
