I strained my hammy doing wind sprints this morning.I am very distraught about this because I hate missing workouts and its painful even to walk right now. What can I do for faster recovery?

Thumbs up

I ruptured my hamstring a few months ago pretty bad while doing martial arts.

I'd recommend you to:
Rest
Ice
Compress
Elevate

Ice it if youve done it recently, it will keep the swelling and pain down. Dont ice it for too long though

Unfortunately, strains or pulled muscles can take a while to heal, so Id recommend you not do any exercise and let the leg rest. If this has happened over a 72 hour period, try and do some very light massage, and use some warm rub cream so it increases the blood flow to the sprain and helps the healing process.

Ice beginning for swelling and keeping the area from not swelling even more, heat for healing.

Here's something I think that can help you.

Hope this Helps :
