Stretching

Curious to see when board member stretch. Some articles say to stretch post workout, others say to stretch during a workout. I've started to stretch between sets, kind of like an active rest. Any input on how effective this is?

I pretty much never stretch. The occasional feel good stretch, but that's about it.

Used to just jump straight in but in light of recent and long gone injuries I've decided I'm quite prone to them now, however stretching has most deffinitly helped (Pre-workout that is).

I usually do 5min of cardio to get "warmed up", then I stretch the muscle group I am working between sets. If it is a lower body day (Squats and deadlifts) I most certainly stretch before the workout as well (Hurdlers stretch, toe touch, etc.)

It may or may not have an effect, but I always feel nice and loose afterwards so i do it heh.

once in a while i stretch out if i am feeling sore or stiff, but usually i do 5-10mins of cardio to warm up then jump right into the workout...so far i seem ok from not stretching...

I stretch between every single set and occasionally pre-workout. That is it.
