Swimming, good or bab?

Let me rephrase..
Yesterday I done some upper body workout (bench press and bent over rows), this morning I went swimming and felt these well known DOMS in my lats and delts real good (I swim free style for half hour).
Now, will it be good for these muscles recovery or bad?

thanks

I think good

Swimming should not prevent development if you dont over do it, And i think in my experience that swimming help you keep supple after traing with weights.
Hope this is of some help.

i use swimming in active recovery, especially after a particularly intense legs session.

i think that unless your doing olympic times during your swim it won't hurt you, but rather help you.

good luck,

Can you explain more on how it works, I heard that swimming (I dont know the pro term) makes your muscles longer, is it true?
Thanks
