I wasn't crazy about it all. I don't like aerobics, but prefer jogging, swimming or walking - just about anything other than aerobics.
Maybe you can find someone that has these tapes and try them before you put out the money.

I don't know too much about it aside from the fact that it's an aerobic workout. Try it ... additional activity will most likely do you some good. You might also consider some resistance training (or weightlifting).

My wife bought it and along with all the other fad exercises it sits at the bottom of our closet.

I put my tapes up on ebay within five days of getting it.

Anything that gets you moving for 40 minutes and gets your heart-rate is good...wether it's walking, jogging, "Tae Bo"...you get my point. You put the intensity in...and you will get results. The tape does not just magically end up at the bottom of the VCR...you put it there.

I enjoy the Tae Bo series. I have the Tae Bo 'live' series. Tae Bo 'live' advanced are VERY good! It kicks my butt! It's become a part of my cardio routine. I normally use it whenever I can't get to the gym. I try to perform Tae Bo at least once a week.

You have to enjoy it, as well. I did not. There are many other sources of cario I'd rather do than throw kicks in my livingroom.

i lost a lot of weight doing tae bo - I have to agree with the above - the more you put into it - the more you will get out of it - depending on what tape you buy - its not your typical "aerobics" its more cardio kickboxing - and it has great toning moves the last 15 min. of the tapes.

The advance live tapes are extremly fast and you will definitely work up a sweat. I belong to gym now- and do aerboics/spinning at the gym however, when I want to double up on my cardio I turn to good Ole' Billy Blanks!!!

If that's all you think it is...then maybe you're not ready for it. That being said...you're right...you do have to enjpy it. Bottom line...one mans trash is another mans treasure...if it doesn't work for you...move on to something else.
