Tai Chi


Hey does anyone do tai chi?i personally don't,but my parents both do it everyday.i just wanted to ask your views on it.thanks

I have done it but don't currently. I think it can be a very valuable supplement to your fitness program but, contrary to some overzealous proponents, it can't replace other forms of exercise for strength, cardiovascular or even flexibility training.

I find it very relaxing. While it's by no means taxing in any way, I think it helps clear the mind and help me focus on something. One of my favorite teachers had us do tai chi before taking tests

Well there are various forms of tai chi, from a relaxing slow exercise to a more cardio, exercise and spar driven tai chi... Its all in the style!

i've done it for 4 years in China. i gained a lot of muscle on my legs and it improved my balance and concentration a lot.
