The Beep test

It's a running test where you run back and fourth between two points twenty yards apart. The beeps get faster and faster and you basically just run until your feckin knackered!

Anyone ever tried it? How did you score? Just curious, and it's great for testing your fitness. :

I'm fifteen and my best is 11.0

Well you didn't tell us how it is scored so 11.0 means nothing to me.

Here is a desription of how to perform the test properly.
http://www.discussfitness.com/showth...ighlight=bleep

It relates the final level achieved to a VO2max value. 11.0 is about 50 mL/kg/min - not too bad, but not exactly great.

Also, the correct distance is 20 metres, not yards but PE teachers in schools usually make it shorter for minors - the real test is really only suitable for adults.
