You are definitely flying Mr. VW. Are you obeying speed laws? If you go any faster then you're going to need to get on the highway.

Keep the pedal to the metal!

Lol. For the most part I obey the speed laws. I'm still going slower than traffic but I'm working on that.

Just got an stationary bike yesterday so I'll be posting here a lot.

Not sure of my PR's. I know back when I was anorexic I rode 12 miles in under an hour. That was fun!!! On the stationary at college I did 13.24 miles in an hour.

I just started riding 2 months ago. This morning we did 27 miles and averaged 19 miles per hours. That was my best ride yet.

This morning we did 52 miles and averaged 17 mph. Although, about 25 miles into the ride I crashed. Got a nice bit of road rash. Tore my riding shorts and my jersey. But all in all it could have been much worse. I managed to actually get out of it with the best of the worst.

You burned some serious calories with that effort. Good job!

Be safe.

Today I did my longest ride to date... 90 miles. It was a very tough ride as it has over 7000 ft of climbing. My fastest speed on the downhills was 51.7 mph.

That must've been so much fun! To get that kind of speed on a bike. I live in the land of no hills.

Yeah it was quite the adrenaline rush! Only thing is that they always seem to put a STOP sign at the bottom of those great hills. And the idea of entering a road at 40+ mph without any clue if there are cars coming kinda scares me. Some guys I ride with are pretty bold, but I tend to be waaayyyy on the conservative side.
