pierini, ed, minime...great job and props to you all.
All these PR's are making me feel like the slacker I am. Got to start concentrating on being more serious with my running and cycling. Especially since I'm going to do one more tri next spring.
You guys (nongenderspecificreference) may not realize it, but you are a real encouragement. I see firehawks PR's, now P's and Ed's... gotta get out and earn some of my own now that my weight training is back on track.
Congrats again guys and girl and thanks for the motivation.

I'll never forget the day before Thanksgiving 2005, when I ran a mile in 6:57. That was definitely one of the turning points of my life. That day I could finally say I was in good shape! All through high school and my freshman year in college, I could barely run a 1/4 mile without being exhausted. And a year later, I'm running miles in under 7 minutes, just as good as the top runners in my high school PE classes that I always wished I could keep up with.

While not a Discuss Fitness member, last Sunday Asafa Powell of Jamaica lowered his world record in the 100 meters by .03 seconds to 9.74 seconds at the Rieti Grand Prix.
