Well, it took 48 hours of binge drinking, no sleep, second hand smoke, and insane eating, but my streak without ANY illness is over. Incidentally, the last time I was sick was a cold that I had for the Christmas of 2004. Notice my join date . I now have another wicked cold, but its the first one in over a year thanks in part to DiscussFitness.com. Without the exercise and nutrition tips from this site, there's no way I'd have gone that long.
Anyone else got a "well" streak going?

Haven't been sick since aside from a runny nose in the winters. Plus, thank god for working out, cause five years of college and I can count the number of hangovers using only my hands.

Since i started working out the only times i get ill are after a heavy ass drinking session the night before. I do get a slight cough for a week but nothing that puts me out of order to any amount of time. But now i dont even get hang overs, which rocks. The other week i was the drunkest i had ever been, i was throwing up and couldn't really walk. The morning after i was fine.
i get a flu every winter so i only get sick once a year and the only reason being is because its usually hot when i get to sleep but it gets really cold during the night which isn't good when i'm shirtless with no covering...
I did have a puke streak going. I remember during the 96 olympics i was pretty sick and and threw up all over my bed and didn't do it again til the middle of 04.
ive been feeling early cold symptoms so im trying the vitamin C until bowel tolerance thing. its not fun when you get there thought it does seem to help with the symptoms so far.

Frankly, I don't remember when I was last sick ...
Its funny, besides doing it to myself with the hellacious weekend I had, my last illness was before I becaome health conscious. Good to know that without the self-destruction, the good health can be maintainable over long periods of time. By the way, how's the shoulder?
